June has arrived and our members are working their own gardens as well as preparing the Eastern Trial and the Paul Callahan gardens for a new growing season.
Preparation for the 2001 ADS National Show is on schedule with the show just three months away. If you'll be arriving for the show on Thursday, be sure to reserve your place on the Liberty Dinner Cruise, space is limited.
The June meeting and root sale was a great success with resident expert Steve Nowotarski speaking on the topics of tying, stopping, disbudding and disbranching.
Bill Allgeier stressed that if you plan to judge at the National Show in September, you MUST have your registration filed before September. If you are not registered, you will not be allowed to judge.
Each month we will be posting pictures of the Paul Callahan and Eastern Trial Gardens so you can follow their progress as we approach the National Show.
